Project description
The project concerns the development of a new, three-dimensional seismogeological model, optimizing the location of prospective zones from the point of view of the discovery of unconventional hydrocarbon reservoirs in the autochthonous Miocene strata of the Carpathian Foredeep. The result of the project will be a digital 3D seismogeological model developed for
the area of the Carpathian Foredeep between Krakow and Przemyśl. The model will integrate geological, seismic, geochemical and petrophysical information, which will allow for the identification of zones and prospective objects and optimization of the location of potential drillings and the depth of making available reservoir intervals for five potential accumulation of gaseous hydrocarbons in different and previously poorly recognized stratigraphic sequences.

Celem projektu jest opracowania nowego, trójwymiarowego modelu sejsmogeologicznego, optymalizującego lokalizację stref perspektywicznych z punktu widzenia odkrycia niekonwencjonalnych złóż węglowodorów w utworach miocenu autochtonicznego zapadliska przedkarpackiego pomiędzy Krakowem a Przemyślem.
